I absolutely loved this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Gavin and Charlie are the kind of couple that makes you believe in happily every after. Both have lots of garbage in their backgrounds they have pushed aside in order to make successful lives. Neither have many friends and are relatively lonely. Gavin is a whiz on the computer and is using his skills to help those less fortunate. Charlie is a scientist which I love because it shows that women can be smart and sexy at the same time. When Gavin sees Charlie for the first time he can’t believe how she affects him. Charlie thinks Gavin is the most incredible man she has ever seen but doesn’t see how someone like Gavin could even look at her. As the story progresses we see just why relationships with the right person are so important. I really liked the fact that this was more than just the standard love story. If you like love stories that are a bit more in depth then I would encourage you to read this book.Product details

I loved this, it makes ur heart race, i cried, laughed and tgere might have been a time or too i dosed of because i didn't wabt to stop reafing it. Lol, yep it was that good to me.
What a beautiful story of two people finding each other. Gavin always trying to find ways to shut down the dark web stumbles on an ad for a hit. Charlie had mistaken saw something at her lab that she shouldn't. Gavin was determined to save her and in the end they both saved each other.
Charlie is a scientist who is now in danger after uncovering something by accident. She is a loner scientist who has a Collie.
Gavin is a reformed hacker. One day while on the dark web he sees a hit out on Charlie and he will do whatever it takes to prevent it from happening. However will the sweet and innocent Charlie believe Gavin before it's too late?
This story was so similar to Bound by the same two authors. It had a cabin, taking a girl away and little plot. At least Bound had 3 books in one for $0.99 but for $3.99 you just get one story. If this is the best that these authors can do, please don't bother with another Dark Horse story.
For at lease 20 chapters the stars of the book from different POV's tried to explain why they weren't good for each other. Then the ending was wrapped up with a quick bow. Charlie made up with her father rather quickly after years of being estranged and being treated like an unwanted step-child. Not worth my time, money and thought. sorry
Hacked is Book 2 in the Dark Horse Series written by two of my favorite authors Cali MacKay and J.S. Scott.
This book gripped me right from the start and kept me intrigued to the very end. I read it straight through because I couldn't put it down.
Gavin Reid learns that Charlie Wenham's life is in danger and he is determined to do what he can to protect her. Charlie is a science geek that you can't help but feel sympathy for. She hasn't been shown much love in her life. Gavin had a rough upbringing and is doing what he can to rectify past wrong doings. Normally these two's paths would never cross but fate intervenes. Through each other they help overcomes things in their past. They are hoping that they can find out who is trying to end Charlie's life so they can possibly have a future together.
This book has all the things that I love best-suspense, intrigue and sizzling sex.

Gavin grew up poor, got caught up in crime, and has regrets in his past that were out of his control. They give him nightmares and insomnia. He is a super smart and very successful computer hacker. Now he uses his sleepless nights to browse the deep web, where you can find anything for sale drugs, people, sex and hits for murder. He tries to "atone" for his past by saving those he can. Charlie is a young scientist with a hit on his life. Gavin means to find him and help.
Charlie is a gifted scientist. She is a bit of a loner and has self-confidence issues that stem from her family and her past. Gavin shows up one day to tell her (once he realizes Charlie is a woman) that her life is in danger.
From there, the story takes the fast track, as their steamy attraction grows and they try to stay safe. Can they stay ahead of a killer(s) that want the money for Charlie's death? Is their attraction the adrenalin and circumstances, or will it last in their every day life? Enjoy this book by these talented authors and find out.
